The Metcalfe Group, Inc. was founded in 2001 by Paul Metcalfe to serve a diverse group of clients in many different areas of New Product Development, from both technical and marketing perspectives. His desire and ability to innovate combined with extensive experience in product development led him to found the company after more than 20 years in Design Engineering, Marketing Management, and international Manufacturing environments. His innovation has led to being named on multiple patents.

He also managed the design, manufacturing, sourcing and importing of electromechanical consumer and industrial products from China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Costa Rica, Europe, Canada and the United States. Throughout his career, he filled the role of Manufacturing Engineer, Design Engineer, Engineering Manager, Product Manager, Market Segment Manager, and Vice President for several different Cleveland-based manufacturing companies. Before starting his entrepreneurial venture, he managed over $100 million in sales from a Marketing Management role. The company has steadily grown from a one-man operation into a team of talented professionals dedicated to developing new products. This growth has been the result of excellence in service, helping clients design, develop and test new products.
